    PRODUCT INFORMATION

A scientifically developed formulation of 19 important vitamins and minerals containing 400µg folic acid and 10µg vitamin D to be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as advised by the UK Department of Health. Pregnacare has been carefully developed to help safeguard dietary requirements, from the start of trying to conceive and throughout the whole of pregnancy.

Pregnacare also provides a range of nutrients for overall support including vitamins B2, B6 and B12 which contribute to normal red blood cell formation. It has been carefully developed by experts so that all ingredient levels are within safe levels for pregnancy and are moderate rather than excessive.

It contains 19 vitamins and minerals including:

    • Folic acid – which contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy
    • Zinc – which contributes to normal fertility and reproduction
    • Vitamin D – which has a role in the process of cell division
    • Magnesium, Iron and Niacin – which contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
    • Vitamin B2 and B12 – which contributes to maintenance of normal red blood cell formation
    • Vitamin B1 and B6 – which contributes to normal energy release

    DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take one tablet per day with your main meal. Swallow with water or a cold drink. Not to be chewed. Do not exceed the recommended intake. To be taken on a full stomach. You can take Pregnacare during all stages of your pregnancy. This comprehensive formula replaces other Pregnacare multivitamins. There is no need to take an additional multivitamin.

    • Suitable for vegetarians
    • Free from preservatives, artificial colours, yeast and gelatin
    • Gluten free
    • Lactose free
    • Pregnacare is not tested on animals

    CAUTIONS

Food supplements must not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. As with other food supplements, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using if you are under medical supervision, have epilepsy, a thyroid condition, haemochromatosis, suffer from food allergies, or are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Allergy Advice: For allergens, see ingredients in the enclosed information leaflet. Made in a site that may handle nuts.

As Pregnacare contains vitamin K, if you are taking oral anticoagulants (blood thinners) do not take Pregnacare except on the advice of a doctor. This product contains iron, which if taken in excess, may be harmful to very young children.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, out of sight and reach of children.

HOW MANY TABLETS DOES ONE PACK CONTAIN?

At PostMyMeds, we provide a pack of 90 tablets (3 month’s supply). It is recommended to take one tablet per day.

    WHEN IS PREGNACARE RECOMMENDED?

Pregnacare is recommended as soon as you start trying to conceive to help safeguard your nutritional needs before you find you are pregnant; throughout the whole of your pregnancy and also whilst breast-feeding when extra demands are placed on your body. Pregnacare can be used for as long as required and can be started at any point during pregnancy.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING TO USE PREGNACARE?

As a general rule, Pregnacare can be taken alongside medications because it contains only moderate levels of vitamins and minerals. However, if you are already taking prescribed supplements or medications, seek advice from your doctor or health professional first. As Pregnacare contains vitamin K, if you are taking oral anticoagulants (blood thinners) do not take Pregnacare except on the advice of a doctor.
