    WHY IS THIS TEST IMPORTANT?

    Helicobacter pylori is a bacteria that causes conditions such as gastritis which can progress to stomach ulcers if left untreated.

    However, if detected early enough, a combination of antibiotic and antacid medication can eliminate the bacteria damaging the protective lining of the stomach thus stopping stomach ulcers from forming.

    If the infection is left untreated, there is also a risk of developing stomach cancer.

    WHAT IS THE SELFCHECK STOMACH ULCER TEST?

    The test detects for a bacteria called H.Pylori which is known to cause infection that can lead to stomach ulcers.

    The test is easy to use and requires a small finger prick blood sample, giving a visual result within 10 minutes.

    HOW DO I USE THIS TEST KIT?

    If the test result is negative and symptoms persist, it is important to see your GP for further investigation of your symptoms. .
