Tadalafil, which is sometimes referred to as generic Cialis, recently came on the market after the patent for Tadalafil ended in 2017. Tadalafil is the active ingredient in Cialis, and as such there should be no discernible difference between taking the same dose of Tadalafil that you would take if you were using the medication branded as Cialis.

You can buy generic Cialis or Tadalifil here online at PostMyMeds. All you need to do is fill out a short online consultation form so we can make sure the treatment is safe for you to use.

Sometimes, drug companies may choose to give their generic medicine a brand name. This is called a branded generic medicine. Just to confuse matters further, the company that produced the original branded medicine may then decide to produce a generic version of their own brand medicine as well.

It stands to reason that people sometimes get attached to certain products, especially when it comes to treating something like erectile dysfunction, since different products on the market such as Cialis and Viagra have different effects on the user. In the case of generic Cialis (Tadalafil), however, you are getting the very same product (but sometimes from different pharmaceutical companies) if you choose the same dosage.

Cialis generic tablets; Tadalafil

Cialis generic form is Tadalafil, and is perfectly good when used in its place.

Can I take Tadalafil daily?

The main difference on our site between Cialis and Tadalafil is that you can also order a version of Cialis that comes in 2.5mg and 5mg tablets. This is designed to be taken daily, and many users who get the desired effect from that dosage prefer it since you don’t have to plan ahead when it comes to your sex life.

Tadalafil is a type of PDE5 inhibitor. This type of drug works by increasing the blood flow to the penis after sexual stimulation. The blood vessels delivering blood to the penis increase the amount of blood they deliver, and the blood vessels carrying blood away from the penis decrease the removal of blood, helping the user to achieve and sustain an erection.

The recommended starting Tadalafil dosage is 10mg, and you can increase it to 20mg if you find the response to be inadequate. The tablets should be swallowed with water approximately 30 minutes before sexual activity, but this amount of Cialis should not be used on a continuous daily basis.

How long can you take Tadalafil for?

Tadalafil should not be taken more than once per day, regardless of your chosen dosage. If you are taking Tadalafil for erectile dysfunction on a regular schedule and you missed a dose, try to take it as soon as possible. However, if it’s almost time for your next dose you should skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose or more than one dose per day to make up for missing one.

As long as you don’t experience any side effects, you can continue taking the daily dose of Cialis for as long as required. If you’re using Tadalafil on an as-needed basis (in a 10 or 20mg dose), its effects can last up to 36 hours, giving you plenty of time to get in the bedroom. You still need to be sexually stimulated to achieve an erection after taking Tadalafil, so you should be able to go about your daily routine during this time. If you experience prolonged erections on Tadalafil you should seek medical attention, but such side effects are extremely rare.

Tadalafil use does also carry a small risk of more common side effects, but it is worth noting that only between 1% and 10% of users experience any at all. The most common side effects include:

  • Facial flushing / Hot flushes
  • Indigestion
  • Muscle aches, back & limb pain
  • Stuffy nose
  • Headache (including migraine)
  • Dizziness, drowsiness and visual disturbances. This could affect skilled tasks such as driving, so it’s best to do a few test runs before you go on a drive or operate any heavy machinery while Tadalafil is still in your system.

Can I cut Tadalafil in half?

The manufacturers advise that tadalafil and Cialis tablets should be swallowed whole with water and are not suitable to be split. This is as accurate dosing cannot be guaranteed when tablets are cut in half or otherwise split.

It is perfectly safe to drink a moderate amount of alcohol after you’ve taken Cialis, but drinking too much will increase your risk of side effects such as dizziness, headaches, increased heart rate and lower blood pressure.
