Vasculogenic conditions, that affect the flow of blood around the body, can cause erectile dysfunction. Blood flow is a crucial element of getting and maintaining an erection, and anything which interferes with this process can cause erectile dysfunction. This includes high blood pressure, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions, like heart disease.
